Great Primer to Affiliate Marketing
I just finished reading Affiliate Millions and really enjoyed it. As an introductory text on affiliate marketing this is a great read. It covers all the bases from beginning to end. This book also does a super job of covering the pitfalls associated with this type of business. The author even introduces some of his own mistakes during his start-up. For someone who has no prior experience in affiliate/search marketing this book would be a good place to start. The steps are outlined in sequential order and very easy to follow. The vocabulary sidebars cover the specialized lingo common in this business. The author lays out all the math required to get you going. He also covers performance and tuning which is very important to the profitability of your search marketing business.
I would highly recommend this book as a starting point in your research. You can use this book to research, start, and maintain a search marketing venture of your own. In closing, the final chapter on starting and running a home based business is introductory and informative with some thought provoking commentary.
Excellent Realistic Book on Affiliate Marketing
This is an excellent grounded overview of how to go about making money using affiliate marketing through search engines. Great detail on joining affiliate networks and programs and launching your search marketing strategy.
This book does discuss the author's success, but he does not throw a bunch of BS at you about how easy it was or will be for the reader. It takes some capital, hard work, knowledge and a little bit of luck just like most business startups.
An excellent book to start learning about search marketing, with solid resources and references for those that want to read more.

First, it is educational, especially for one who knows little or nothing about affiliate marketing. Second, it is a how-to book showing which affiliate search engines and progams are useful, how to join them, and how to put them to work. The authors provide many insightful clues based on experience as affiliate marketers. Most helpful are the mistakes to be avoided - what a savings in time and money! Finally, the authors are very clear that their intent is not to divulge their own successful key word ad campaigns, but to arm the reader with the knowledge and resources so that he or she can do the same. They leave that creative task to the entrepreneur-to-be as should be, while providing a huge boost up the affiliate marketing learning curve.
